Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work "Flasher", 1997 by Sirous Namazi for SEK 15,000.00 (€ 1,730.59). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Sirous Namazi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Utan titel", 2002 in November 2010 with an auction result of SEK 130,000.00 (€ 14,210.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Flasher", 1997 von Sirous Namazi für SEK 15.000,00 (€ 1.730,59) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sirous Namazi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Utan titel", 2002 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 130.000,00 (€ 14.210,65).
