Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Sirous Namazi could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work "Skulptur" changed hands for SEK 28,000.00 (€ 2,753.45) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 30,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sirous Namazi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Utan titel", 2002 in November 2010 with an auction result of SEK 130,000.00 (€ 14,210.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sirous Namazi konnte im April 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wechselte die Arbeit "Skulptur" für SEK 28.000,00 (€ 2.753,45) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 35.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sirous Namazi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Utan titel", 2002 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 130.000,00 (€ 14.210,65).
