Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work La Dragonnière, Cap Martin by Winston Churchill was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2018. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 350,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 358,000.00 (€ 403,813.12). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Winston Churchill achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tower Of The Koutoubia Mosque in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 8,285,000.00 (€ 9,732,740.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit La Dragonnière, Cap Martin von Winston Churchill kam im November 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 350.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 358.000,00 (€ 403.813,12) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Winston Churchill erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tower Of The Koutoubia Mosque im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.285.000,00 (€ 9.732.740,78).
