In June 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Post-War British Art Evening Sale, which included the work A View Of Eze In The Alpes-Maritimes by Winston Churchill. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 514,000.00 (€ 580,907.60), 71% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Winston Churchill achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tower Of The Koutoubia Mosque in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 8,285,000.00 (€ 9,732,740.78).

Im Juni 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Post-War British Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A View Of Eze In The Alpes-Maritimes von Winston Churchill zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 514.000,00 (€ 580.907,60) und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Winston Churchill erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tower Of The Koutoubia Mosque im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.285.000,00 (€ 9.732.740,78).
