Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2005 Christies in London held the auction The Scottish Sale, which included the work The Trysting Place by James Lawton Wingate. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 4,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 4,800.00 (€ 6,990.70). Other works by James Lawton Wingate have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 11,889.77) in December 2007 for the work Villa Limonaia From Villa Ombrellino, Bellosguardo, Near Florence.

Im März 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Scottish Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Trysting Place von James Lawton Wingate zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 4.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 4.800,00 (€ 6.990,70) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von James Lawton Wingate haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 11.889,77) im Dezember 2007 für die Arbeit Villa Limonaia From Villa Ombrellino, Bellosguardo, Near Florence beobachtet.
