The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 11,889.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Villa Limonaia From Villa Ombrellino, Bellosguardo, Near Florence is the most expensive artwork by James Lawton Wingate that we have observed at auctions so far.
