The work Battersea Reach (Schniederman 48) by Francis Seymour Haden was sold in the Twentieth Century Prints auction at Christies in London in October 2001. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,116.25 (€ 1,804.02), 59% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Battersea Reach (Schniederman 48) the most expensive artwork by Francis Seymour Haden that we have observed at auctions so far.
