Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Travel & Exploration, which included the work 'Leopard Hunting'; And 4 Other Hunting Scenes Hand-Coloured Lithographs, Laid Down, Window-Mounted, Printed By The Behar Lithographic Press, 1828-1829 20 X 26Cm. (7 7/8 X 10 1/4In.) (5) by Charles D'Oyly. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 828.75 (€ 964.26). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles D'Oyly achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pushkar, India, with a parade of figures, elephants and horses in the foreground in October 2011 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 26,039.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Travel & Exploration durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Leopard Hunting'; And 4 Other Hunting Scenes Hand-Coloured Lithographs, Laid Down, Window-Mounted, Printed By The Behar Lithographic Press, 1828-1829 20 X 26Cm. (7 7/8 X 10 1/4In.)
