Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Scarecrow in the Snow by Simon Palmer was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 6,375.00 (€ 7,484.85), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Simon Palmer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Harvesting Snow, which sold at auction in March 2017 for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,902.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Scarecrow in the Snow von Simon Palmer kam im November 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.375,00 (€ 7.484,85) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Für andere Arbeiten von Simon Palmer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Harvesting Snow beobachtet, die im März 2017 für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.902,90) versteigert wurde.
