Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work No Wild Swimming by Simon Palmer. The price achieved of GBP 5,100.00 (€ 6,081.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Simon Palmer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Harvesting Snow in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,902.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit No Wild Swimming von Simon Palmer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.100,00 (€ 6.081,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Simon Palmer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Harvesting Snow im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.902,90).
