In June 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Istria And The Land Of The Hyperboreans by Simon Casson. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,313.00 (€ 4,083.78). Other works by Simon Casson have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 4,500.00 (€ 6,114.74) in December 2007 for the work Without Liberation Or Myrtle - Boughs.
