A top price for Sidney Goodman - as previously expected
In September 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Part I and Part II, which included the work Girl Twice by Sidney Goodman. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 17,582.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Girl Twice is the most expensive artwork by Sidney Goodman that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im September 2007 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Part I and Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Girl Twice von Sidney Goodman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 17.582,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Girl Twice das teuerste Kunstwerk von Sidney Goodman, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
