Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Shyamal Dutta Ray was sold in the Indian and Southeast Asian Art including Modern and auction at Christies in New York in September 2005. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,200.00 (€ 5,971.14). Admittedly, works by Shyamal Dutta Ray have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 24,856.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Shyamal Dutta Ray wurde im September 2005 in der Auktion Indian and Southeast Asian Art including Modern and bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.200,00 (€ 5.971,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shyamal Dutta Ray auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 24.856,19).
