Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of USD 11,875.00 (€ 7,513.45) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shyamal Dutta Ray - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in September 2008 for USD 35,000.00 (€ 24,856.19).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 7.513,45) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Shyamal Dutta Ray mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im September 2008 für USD 35.000,00 (€ 24.856,19) versteigert wurde.
