Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Shibu Natesan was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2014. It changed hands for a price of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 13,566.59) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 9,000.00 – 11,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shibu Natesan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stand Alone in September 2006 with an auction result of USD 198,000.00 (€ 156,065.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Shibu Natesan kam im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 13.566,59) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 9.000,00 – 11.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shibu Natesan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stand Alone im September 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 198.000,00 (€ 156.065,26).
