Auction result well in line with expectations
The work On The Beach, 2005 by Shibu Natesan was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in December 2007. The price achieved of EUR 27,262.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shibu Natesan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Stand Alone in September 2006 with an auction result of USD 198,000.00 (€ 156,065.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit On The Beach, 2005 von Shibu Natesan kam im Dezember 2007 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 27.262,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shibu Natesan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Stand Alone im September 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 198.000,00 (€ 156.065,26).
