The work Announcement - II by Shibu Natesan was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Indian Art Including Art from Pakistan and Sri Lanka auction at Christies in London in May 2007. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 19,200.00 (€ 28,254.10), 60% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Shibu Natesan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Stand Alone in September 2006 with an auction result of USD 198,000.00 (€ 156,065.26).

Die Arbeit Announcement - II von Shibu Natesan wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Indian Art Including Art from Pakistan and Sri Lanka bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 19.200,00 (€ 28.254,10) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shibu Natesan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Stand Alone im September 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 198.000,00 (€ 156.065,26).
