The work Eradication by Shay Kun was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March 2012. It achieved a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,624.72), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Shay Kun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Naked In Death in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 28,125.00 (€ 26,184.71).

Die Arbeit Eradication von Shay Kun kam im März 2012 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.624,72) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shay Kun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Naked In Death im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.125,00 (€ 26.184,71).
