This artwork by Shang Yang achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2016. In the Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Sketch Of Huangtu Gaoyuan - 4 sold for HKD 1,534,000.00 (€ 180,519.98) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 700,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shang Yang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dong Qichang'S Plan - 4 (Diptych), which sold at auction in October 2015 for HKD 5,480,000.00 (€ 640,210.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Shang Yang erzielte im Oktober 2016 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Sketch Of Huangtu Gaoyuan - 4 für HKD 1.534.000,00 (€ 180.519,98) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 700.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Shang Yang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dong Qichang'S Plan - 4 (Diptych) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für HKD 5.480.000,00 (€ 640.210,11) versteigert wurde.
