Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work H Land - 13 by Shang Yang. The price achieved of HKD 472,000.00 (€ 53,177.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shang Yang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dong Qichang'S Plan - 4 (Diptych) in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 5,480,000.00 (€ 640,210.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit H Land - 13 von Shang Yang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 472.000,00 (€ 53.177,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shang Yang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dong Qichang'S Plan - 4 (Diptych) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.480.000,00 (€ 640.210,11).
