Auction result well in line with expectations
The work H Land by Shang Yang was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Evening Sale) auction at Christies in Shanghai in September 2018. The price achieved of CNY 336,000.00 (€ 42,093.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 280,000.00 – 480,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shang Yang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dong Qichang'S Plan - 4 (Diptych) in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 5,480,000.00 (€ 640,210.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit H Land von Shang Yang wurde im September 2018 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Evening Sale) bei Christies in Shanghai versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 336.000,00 (€ 42.093,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 280.000,00 – 480.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shang Yang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dong Qichang'S Plan - 4 (Diptych) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.480.000,00 (€ 640.210,11).
