This artwork by Serge Attukwei Clottey achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in December 2021. In the New Now auction, the work Mr Irrelevant sold for GBP 25,200.00 (€ 30,058.31) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Serge Attukwei Clottey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fashion icons in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 340,200.00 (€ 403,045.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Serge Attukwei Clottey erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit Mr Irrelevant für GBP 25.200,00 (€ 30.058,31) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Serge Attukwei Clottey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fashion icons im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 340.200,00 (€ 403.045,12).
