Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2015 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Fucked Up Flowers (Pink Still Life) by Scott Reeder. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,509.18). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Scott Reeder - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Pasta Painting), which sold at auction in September 2014 for USD 25,000.00 (€ 19,797.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2015 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fucked Up Flowers (Pink Still Life) von Scott Reeder zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.875,00 (€ 6.509,18) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Scott Reeder mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Pasta Painting) beobachtet, die im September 2014 für USD 25.000,00 (€ 19.797,28) versteigert wurde.
