Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Scott Reeder could be acquired at Christies in London in April 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open | Online auction, the work Paper at Night changed hands for GBP 750.00 (€ 872.47) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Scott Reeder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Pasta Painting) in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 19,797.28).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Scott Reeder konnte im April 2019 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion First Open | Online wechselte die Arbeit Paper at Night für GBP 750,00 (€ 872,47) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Scott Reeder erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Pasta Painting) im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 19.797,28).
