Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2017 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Anatomical Heart by Scott Campbell. The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,330.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Scott Campbell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cloth Skull Cube, which sold at auction in July 2015 for GBP 17,500.00 (€ 24,809.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2017 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Anatomical Heart von Scott Campbell zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.330,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Scott Campbell mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cloth Skull Cube beobachtet, die im Juli 2015 für GBP 17.500,00 (€ 24.809,12) versteigert wurde.
