Upper estimate price exceeded by 65 %.
In December 2020 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Urban & Pop Contemporary, which included the work Rose Wire - 2008 by Scott Campbell. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,470.00 65% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Scott Campbell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cloth Skull Cube in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 24,809.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 65 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rose Wire - 2008 von Scott Campbell zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.470,00 und damit 65% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Scott Campbell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cloth Skull Cube im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 24.809,12).
