Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Paperma by Scott Campbell for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,071.00). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Scott Campbell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cloth Skull Cube in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 24,809.12).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Paperma von Scott Campbell für USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.071,00) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Scott Campbell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cloth Skull Cube im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 24.809,12).
