Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Village by Syed Haider Raza was auctioned at Christies in New York in March last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 250,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 252,000.00 (€ 227,170.29). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Syed Haider Raza achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tapovan in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 4,452,500.00 (€ 3,614,042.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Village von Syed Haider Raza kam im März letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 250.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 252.000,00 (€ 227.170,29) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Syed Haider Raza erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tapovan im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.452.500,00 (€ 3.614.042,21).
