Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'Hiver by Syed Haider Raza was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March last year. The price achieved of USD 52,920.00 (€ 47,705.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Syed Haider Raza achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tapovan in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 4,452,500.00 (€ 3,614,042.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit L'Hiver von Syed Haider Raza kam im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 52.920,00 (€ 47.705,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Syed Haider Raza erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tapovan im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.452.500,00 (€ 3.614.042,21).
