Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Syed Haider Raza achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in July last year. In the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art Online auction, the work without title sold for GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,218.06) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Syed Haider Raza achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tapovan in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 4,452,500.00 (€ 3,614,042.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Syed Haider Raza erzielte im Juli letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art Online wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.218,06) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Syed Haider Raza erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tapovan im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.452.500,00 (€ 3.614.042,21).
