Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Sassan Behnam-Bakhtiar achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in July last year. In the First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Flames of Love, Flames of Desire sold for GBP 40,320.00 (€ 48,149.24) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sassan Behnam-Bakhtiar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Age of Energy, which sold at auction in March this year for GBP 101,600.00 (€ 115,589.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sassan Behnam-Bakhtiar erzielte im Juli letzten Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online wurde die Arbeit Flames of Love, Flames of Desire für GBP 40.320,00 (€ 48.149,24) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sassan Behnam-Bakhtiar mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Age of Energy beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für GBP 101.600,00 (€ 115.589,62) versteigert wurde.
