It achieved a price of GBP 19,375.00 (€ 22,473.61), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 29%. Admittedly, works by Sassan Behnam-Bakhtiar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Age of Energy in March this year with an auction result of GBP 101,600.00 (€ 115,589.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 29 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Full Bloom III von Sassan Behnam-Bakhtiar kam im Oktober 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 19.375,00 (€ 22.473,61) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 29%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sassan Behnam-Bakhtiar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Age of Energy im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 101.600,00 (€ 115.589,62).
