It achieved a price of USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,378.02), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 52%. Admittedly, works by Sarah Grilo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mi Buenos Aires querido in March last year with an auction result of USD 60,480.00 (€ 54,520.87).

Die Arbeit Profundo Percusion von Sarah Grilo kam im Oktober 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.378,02) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 52%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sarah Grilo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mi Buenos Aires querido im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.480,00 (€ 54.520,87).
