Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gris arriba by Sarah Grilo was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 43,750.00 (€ 37,158.15) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Sarah Grilo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March last year the work Mi Buenos Aires querido was auctioned for USD 60,480.00 (€ 54,520.87).

Die Arbeit Gris arriba von Sarah Grilo kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 37.158,15) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
