Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'énigme by Sarah Grilo was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in September last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 32,760.00 (€ 33,486.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Sarah Grilo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March last year the work Mi Buenos Aires querido was auctioned for USD 60,480.00 (€ 54,520.87).
