Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Como antes by Sarah Grilo. The price achieved of USD 50,000.00 (€ 41,848.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Sarah Grilo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March last year the work Mi Buenos Aires querido was auctioned for USD 60,480.00 (€ 54,520.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Como antes von Sarah Grilo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 41.848,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Sarah Grilo konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März letzten Jahres die Arbeit Mi Buenos Aires querido für USD 60.480,00 (€ 54.520,87) versteigert.
