In May 2021 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Muro Gris by Sarah Grilo. The result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 41,003.77) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Sarah Grilo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March last year the work Mi Buenos Aires querido was auctioned for USD 60,480.00 (€ 54,520.87).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Muro Gris von Sarah Grilo zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 41.003,77) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Sarah Grilo konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März letzten Jahres die Arbeit Mi Buenos Aires querido für USD 60.480,00 (€ 54.520,87) versteigert.
