Auction result misses estimated price range
In November last year a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Two Works on Paper) by Sandú Darié for USD 8,925.00 (€ 8,645.74). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sandú Darié achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 118,348.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Two Works on Paper) von Sandú Darié für USD 8.925,00 (€ 8.645,74) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sandú Darié erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 118.348,80).
