Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Sandú Darié achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in February this year. In the Modern & Contemporary Cuban Art auction, the work without title sold for USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,607.81) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sandú Darié achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 118,348.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sandú Darié erzielte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Cuban Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.607,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sandú Darié erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 118.348,80).
