A top price for Sandú Darié - as previously expected
The work Untitled by Sandú Darié was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2015. The price achieved of USD 125,000.00 (€ 118,348.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Untitled is the most expensive artwork by Sandú Darié that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Untitled von Sandú Darié kam im November 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 118.348,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Untitled das teuerste Kunstwerk von Sandú Darié, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
