This work without title by Sandú Darié was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Cuban Art auction at Bonhams in February this year. It achieved a price of USD 3,187.50 (€ 3,006.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 59%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sandú Darié achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 118,348.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 59 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sandú Darié wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Cuban Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.187,50 (€ 3.006,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 59%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sandú Darié erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 118.348,80).
