This artwork by Sandú Darié achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in November this year. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Morning Session auction, the work without title sold for USD 35,560.00 (€ 32,599.93) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sandú Darié - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled , which sold at auction in November 2015 for USD 125,000.00 (€ 118,348.80).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Sandú Darié erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Morning Session wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 35.560,00 (€ 32.599,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sandú Darié mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled beobachtet, die im November 2015 für USD 125.000,00 (€ 118.348,80) versteigert wurde.
