Admittedly, works by Samuel John Peploe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life with Tulips in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 992,750.00 (€ 1,121,976.68).

Die Arbeit Roses in a Glass Vase von Samuel John Peploe kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 201.600,00 (€ 236.697,37) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Samuel John Peploe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life with Tulips im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 992.750,00 (€ 1.121.976,68).
