Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Five Revolutionary Seconds Xv by Sam Taylor-Johnson was auctioned at Sothebys in London in February 2014. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,341.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sam Taylor-Johnson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work After Van Halen in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 88,000.00 (€ 57,944.29).

Die Arbeit Five Revolutionary Seconds Xv von Sam Taylor-Johnson kam im Februar 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.341,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sam Taylor-Johnson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit After Van Halen im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 88.000,00 (€ 57.944,29).
