Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Faust Lisant, from Faust (La Nuit de Walpurgis) (M. & L. 312) by Salvador Dalí was sold in the Old Master, 19th Century, Modern and Contemporary Prints auction at Christies in London in March 2007. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,766.26), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Salvador Dalí achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait De Paul Éluard in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 13,481,250.00 (€ 15,879,784.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Faust Lisant, from Faust (La Nuit de Walpurgis) (M. & L. 312) von Salvador Dalí wurde im März 2007 in der Auktion Old Master, 19th Century, Modern and Contemporary Prints bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.766,26) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Salvador Dalí erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait De Paul Éluard im Februar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.481.250,00 (€ 15.879.784,58).
