The work Washdog by Saint Clair Cemin was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in October 2017. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,654.40), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Saint Clair Cemin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Large Table), which sold at auction in November 2004 for USD 95,600.00 (€ 72,101.97).

Die Arbeit Washdog von Saint Clair Cemin wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.654,40) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Saint Clair Cemin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Large Table) beobachtet, die im November 2004 für USD 95.600,00 (€ 72.101,97) versteigert wurde.
