Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Meet; Across The Fields; On The Scent; And The Kill by Rudolf Stone was sold in the Sporting and Wildlife Art auction at Christies in London in June 2013. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,188.46) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rudolf Stone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The meet; Over the fence; In full cry; and The kill in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 8,812.50 (€ 13,630.94).
