Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,682.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rudolf Stone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The meet; Over the fence; In full cry; and The kill in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 8,812.50 (€ 13,630.94).
