Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2004 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art and Dogs, which included the work Tally Ho!; On The Scent; In Full Gallop; Over The Brook; Moving Off; And Gone Away by Rudolf Stone. The price achieved of GBP 5,736.00 (€ 8,251.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Rudolf Stone have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2002 the work The meet; Over the fence; In full cry; and The kill was auctioned for GBP 8,812.50 (€ 13,630.94).
