Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The fox-hunt; Hunters crossing a brook by Rudolf Stone was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2000. It changed hands for a price of NLG 4,914.84 (€ 2,160.39) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of NLG 3,500.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rudolf Stone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The meet; Over the fence; In full cry; and The kill in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 8,812.50 (€ 13,630.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The fox-hunt; Hunters crossing a brook von Rudolf Stone kam im Juli 2000 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von NLG 4.914,84 (€ 2.160,39) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von NLG 3.500,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rudolf Stone auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The meet; Over the fence; In full cry; and The kill im Juni 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.812,50 (€ 13.630,94).
